Intel D820 2.8GHz and 1 gig Ram.
Hideous livery.
The pink was as mentioned previously, easily recognisable and lets face it, something very very different!
In terms of the “low cost model” how are Jet 2 operating the 757s alongside the 737’s?
Theres no crew commonality, but yet all Boeing type rated but different maintenance? Are the 75’s employed on certain routes?
Lots of great shots, everybody! 🙂
I’m trying to work out if I can be bothered with the hassle of re-installing Flight Simulator…
Is it just me or is the disappointment (relatively speaking compared to expectation) of FSX brought about a sense of apathy amongst flight simmers?

In all fairness unless things have changed recently it doesn’t matter what class you fly, you get awesome service.
I flew with Singapore a few years ago and they were great! Also got to eat Duck and Noodles for breakfast at 4am somewhere over Europe 😀
Funny business class seats those though!
The RAF have one that might be worth investigating. However to date (as far as my search has gone) getting a definitive ansewr on just how to get it is as likely as getting a sensibile answer out of anyone in the Air Cadets 😉
Yeah but you get money “back” if you spend more in the pub! Its a couple of quid per hour if I remember rightly. I’m sure someone else will be able to give you an exact value!
Is the 195 as crampt as that photo makes it look?
At uni we get taught about fail-safe and safe life in the aerospace context. Worrying for passengers who know nothing about aeroplanes, worrying for the man whos house got attacked by a flying bolt but flight critical? I doubt it.
Hoo Ha over nothing I say.
The video poster is just making a mountain out of a molehill.
Anyone can see it is just bit of rubber.
If you knew nothing about aeroplanes however, would you not be worried about bits (however big, medium or small) falling off of the aircraft?
If it had been a safety concern there would have been backups, as explained previously by much more knowledgeable people it won’t make much of a difference. Just tidies up the aerodynamic surfaces and makes sure theres no holes for the air to find, improving efficiency 😀
At university we’re going with the Berrnoulli principle on a whole. However we have dabbled with an “alternative approach” to airflow around an aerofoil and that was the Circulation, linked in with the Magnus effect.
The Air Training Corps goes with Bernoulli as well. That pprune thread certainly isn’t light reading 😮
In most aerofoils only the top surface resembles the “venturi” due to the moving flow’s interaction with the boundary layer?
Or the bit about the circulatory theory of lift?
Anything else? Forgive me if I’m a little bit out it’s only my first week back at uni and freshers week has killed most brain cells.
Stick your hand up, challenge the teacher, see what he says. It’s great fun when you know you can back something up!
Having seen the preview I kept checking in. Dunno if I’ll be able to sign up but thats a cracking effort, best of luck!
That’s a sweet bit of parking there!
