Delta’s MD-88’s are very nice actually. Particularly if you get one with the new interior. Also, you have to love the old school type of aircraft that’s not just a boring 737 or A320!

Been on them before. We had almost en entire round trip on MD aircraft. -11’s across the pond and an -88 for MCO-CVG!

    Can’t wait…especially with the -200 737 as well!

    I miss them too.

Luckily for me…I’m riding on one in a few weeks 😀

    You think its parked there?

Either your eyesight is poor. Or KLM know something about making 747’s hover that the rest of us are completley clueless about!

It’s not even on the bit that means displaced threshold is it? So it’s landed on what is official an area unsuitable for movements?

How much fun would it have been to be at the fence!

The Dunsfold 747 is used in movies isn’t it? I assume its for some space-age or super high tech film.

Possibly even the new bond film?

    I said it first!!!! 😀

There wasn’t much bad weather around yesterday, a few snap thunderstorms as far as I’m aware.

I live in Crewe, around 40miles away though so you may want to ask someone closer as well 😀

I knew of Sheldon County Park.

I dropped my parents off for their flight, but I had a car load of stuff as well which made me nervous about parking it anywhere unsecure etc.

To be honest, I also had no useful map…therefore couldn’t find Marston Green railway station!

Will be actually planning my next visit!

Where were you standing to get those shots?

I was there on thursday when the Corsair 747 departed, but noticed the visitors area is now a building site:( Did’t fancy lingering around the car park.

Any chance you can have a look in the official forums (my username was deleted when I got my refund) to see how 6.2 is getting on in terms of the new patches etc.

I think that Livery indeed would have been better on the ERJ170/175.

However, I still think it looks AWESOME!
