Using air ,dives to about 40 metres are normal with decompression stop on ascending.Deeper than this requires mixed gas diving or tech diving as it is better known! At 37 metres you have 9 mins before returning to surface!!
Tread carefully with this one!!!!
If the priming pump reaches pressure and then starts screaming and strips gears could this be due to loss of prime?

my late father had a set of POW photos(he was army and captured near Tobruk)it seemed to me that they were for sending to familys ,most were formal pictures and varying in the number of people in them. Most of them appear to be a Scottish regiment and one is of a New year concert,I can scan and put them on iif anyones interested.
Sorry for my 140 inch frying pan!!The one on 204 sqdn was in a bad state of repair and seemed only to be a covering of tarmac as the aircraft wheels often ended up in depressions which ended up as ice pools in the winter, apart from the wheels being iced in, the chocks(large wooden ones)would also be stuck and required a few good kicks with your boots while sitting near those props whizzing around!!All good exciting stuff.
One on Ballykelly ex 204 sqdn appears to be 140in diameter,it was a bug..r to marshal a mk 2 shack onto! Also in bad condition and in the winter the mainwheels would be frozen in ice which took a lot of power to break free before it came hurtling at you!!!
For those from Plymouth,if you have stood on the jetty at “Devils Point”then you are a few yards from an UXB !!I used to dive from there and now if the tide has not moved it it is no more than 30/40 metres from where you stand!!!
I was twice on starter crew on shacks when the bomb bay load was “accidentally”dropped including (old)depth charges, sonobouys and 25lb smoke bombs!Second time had a torpedo amongst the other stuff .Obviously nothing apart from the smoke bombs went off!
Tangmere 1940,If you look on the “Coquet and coast “forum there is a forum on RAF Acklington and its covered there !

This badge was given to my mother from a German airmans body washed up on the shore near Amble in Northumberland. Thought to be from a Helnkel 111 shot down. One eagle is missing.
If it happened here in Thailand in a “high end car”the driver would probably have pulled out an automatic pistol and shot them all!Road rage here is dangerous!!!
