They may well have had strobes but I recall the B of B flotilla overhead in Cambridgeshire with a lot of “Rat a Tat “going on and very convincing it was!

    Great escape remake

Rumour has it a british film company with a budget of $50,000 will do a remake!!Only one American actor will be in the new film which will be in B&W for added realism. The one American will play a medic ,I read somwhere that this at least is true.

    Best /Worst

Best for me , DC 10 Very quiet.Worst was a (I think) a SEAT 25 seater(?)from Porto Rica to the Brit Virgin islands.Or if you want the really bad one the “Shackelton”unsurpassed for noise and seating!!Or possibly the AW Argosy which had an awful whistling whine!!

    swearing

My thoughts are that if comedians have to resort to swearing and profanity then they are aiming at an audience of a certain intelligence level.I have not lived in the UK for some twelve years so cannot comment on todays comedians never having seen any of them. I do know that we had great comedians when I did live their so maybe I am just old fashioned. However as I occasionally venture onto “facebook”and see the kind of language used on their I should not be suprised at the everyday use of old anglo saxon words.
