    I am writing this from the far east of Russia(Sakhalin)where Shell are building a Gas /Oil seperation plant due on stream in June.All for sale to local markets.The Americans are building LNG/LPG plants in Angola for home consumption,this is the latest war ,who gets most energy and with Chavez mouthing of at the yanks what do you think the yanks will do to ensure continuity of supplies?The next cold war will get hotter!!

    This is not suprising its a way of life from the top down.For those who do not live in Asia it probably sounds a bit strange but you come across it every day.Losing face is the thing and if you upset one (a local)expect the worst.Getting a cop to despatch an enemy ?Easy for a few dollers.Dont believe that ?Try www thaivisa.com ,interesting stories abound.

    Nothing to do with Fairy IIIFs but while browsing Google earth I spotted what appears to be a fuselage on Kilimanjaro ,its not the DC-3 that crashedand appears to be about 60ft long.Co-ordinates are 3deg 05.20 south and 37deg 22.53 east.Anyone know what this is?

    Yes this report was also mentioned but was not his uncle who was stationed at Shawbury when it happened and had been on a fighter affiliation exercise when the accident occured.You can read about it on http://www.bsacforum.com.

    Remakes

    I dont like them at all,or any movie that has “2” after its name.George Clooney said in a newspaper article today that they dont make good movies any more,he reckoned the 60s where best and I wouldnt argue with that we had a different breed of actors then .But thats just my opinion !

    German aircraft

    I dont remember this one but I have a luftwaffe insignia with three chevron type birds on it which mum told me came from a german uniform that was washed up,I still have it!
