apologies for the photo quality they are from my phone and I was in a hurry!!Usually most of the stuff coming in here is American ,U-Tapoa airport (ex US bomber and ASR base )is only 20 miles south. There lots of AGS spares nuts bolts rivets etc and a fair amount of safety gear .Lots of U/C legs and hyd actuators ehaust parts .There were lots of P&W cylinder heads but did not notice this time also test equipment in their boxes and ….well I think I have said enough!May visit again shortly with my good camera!!!
Item 2.looks like the pump from a lube oil bowser.the sort that was towed (or pulled)from aircraft to aircraft.Blood. hard work in the winter and Varsities would take about 15 gallons per engine at the end of the day!!
Thanks, that explains a lot!Maritime interior being totally different from AEW!!By the way Richw_82 do you have Autolycus equipment!!!
Shame though,no maritime MKs preserved anywhere, most of todays enthuisiasts only remember AEW models,ah well!Back to reading my “Growler”.
No flue gas cleaning on many big power plants then!India has just been cracking down on Greenpeace for advertising their pollution problems.Hopw the UK are not sending overseas aid to India!

Is this shack the only real maritime version MK2 around? The coventry one is a revamped AEW as is the one at St Mawgan .It really should be in the “cold war museum”.
Can you elucidate further ,or even enlighten the forum on what this is about?

Fan trainer wheels go into the fuselage!!Yes they are ex Thai air force and just arrived in the yard .All the other wings ,flaps and hatches etc have gone to the smelter.
Looks like this?Renfrew airport
Not from me then ,I do not have an a/c .Not even a credit card! What you see is only part of it ,there lots of engine parts helo G/boxes, defunct wings and other panels from all sorts .

Now this ex mil yard is near me in Thailand. It is mainly ex American aircraft parts which will not be of much use to those wanting bits for WW2 aircraft! Most of the parts are from Cessna “bird dogs”and huey helos plus a load of bits from Fairchild Providers(lots of P&W pots). If however someone would like a inst panel or any other item I am willing to do a search for you
I have just read a book called”Lost in Shangri-La “which was about a C-47 that crashed in a remote valley in Papua New Guinea in 1945,three passengers survived and the book was the story of getting them out.In the end they were “Snatched in a WACO glider by a C-47 and just made it over a mountain ridge !So seeing the same “snatch technique in that film made me appreciate what was achieved back then!A good story.
Something like a type “D”?Rated for 200 amps,used a lot in 1950s aircraft.
“963” was a AEW and returned to Maritime config was it not?In which case I take it that there will be no extendable radome”dustbin)and associated equipment or AEW radar equipment. So how much weight will be saved because of this?I was an elect mech when I worked and flew in them!!
