F-106/Standard ARM

hers a few ive found….the first one i like…a f-106 with a standard!!!!!!!!!!!.

Could it be that the Standard missile under the wing is a
prototype of the cancelled SEEKBAT missile?

SEEKBAT was a program to produce an AAM capable of
hitting a MiG-25 Foxbat in a “snap-up” attack. The program
became a joint Israel/USAF program because of Israeli
concerns with MiG-25 overflights. The program was
cancelled in the late 70’s, not sure why.
