No I haven’t. Where were these?
Regarding D-FWME, although it is a converted Buchon the fin carries a dataplate stating it is a 109G from the Wiener Neustadt plant (w.nr. 8.109.312 IIRC). As far as I know this does not fit into any of the known w/nr-series used for the 109. Is this a data-plate for the fin only, and if so is this fin original or is this data-plate a fake?
Could get no news on the G-6 I’m afraid.
Now I’m thinking about news on 109’s, the commentator at the show mentioned the fact that outside of Germany there were two other 109’s with DB’s in airworthy condition, one being the E in Canada, the other being the one undergoing engine-runs in the UK a few months ago. I am not 100% sure but I believe the commentator mentioned that the last one had actually flown. Any news on the whereabouts of this one?

The Arado Cees mentiones was found in the Chiemsee. The substantially complete fuselage is on show in the Deutsches Museum in Munich. If I remeber correctly it was a biplane trainer, though I cannot remember the correct type.

Fiat G-46? (ex Patrick Lindsay, based at Booker IIRC)

Maybe it was discussed in an earlier thread and I missed it but what is the background to this B-25?

Fantastic pictures, thanks! Has the P-39 flown since Legends?

Thanks Eddie, another question answered!
I have been wondering for some time but dare not ask this probably stupid question but how do they fit a wing to a Mosquito? Can part of the lower fuselage be removed to mate fuselage and wing or is it possible to slide the wing through the opening in the fuselage?

Are these the Firefly-parts that came from the Dutch Antilles? What are the plans for these parts?

I don’t want to blame anyone (especially not a very gifted pilot like this Reno-racer) but blaming a film crew for nearly causing an accident by knocking a fuel selector doesn’t seem to do justice to the film crew. In my book it is SOP for any pilot to check the fuel selector position before take-off. Taking off with the selector in the wrong position has nothinh to do with a film crew but is a result of not ptfotming your take-off checks; and that is the sole responsability of the pilot.

I trust Cees to be able to negotiate an original Halifax trottle-box. What I’ve seen of his cockpit-recreation is really impressive.
I see that the turn-and-bank indicator is on the right and your VSI on the left. Isn’t this the other way round compared to the standard British basic-six configuration?
I understand that a Belgian group is raising money to get the B-25 to Belgium.
I think the Pulqui I was designed by Emil Dewoitine, the famed French designer. The Pulqui II was designed by Kurt Tank. I remeber having read somewhere that the design of the Pulqui II was actually based on designresearch done by mr. Tank during WW2

The Museo Nacional de Aeronautica is no longer to be found at the Aeroparque but is now situated at the Moron AFB, about 45 minutes from the Aeroparque by taxi. A lot of aircraft are now housed inside 3 huge hangers. The Lincoln and Ju-52 amongst others are still displayed outside.
The Lincoln is in reasonable condition, the Ju-52 though has widespread and very severe corrosion and might be beyond saving.
