It’s great to see them there but why do they fly them all the way from Canada to Wales for maintenance when they could get it done in Canada?

As seen on an episode of Ice Pilots. Off to Turkey.

Typically, those in Government have literally zero idea on how a Hospital runs.

Simply plan, get rid of the majority of the managers, some are a total waste of space.

Senior managerial staff also need to grow a set of balls and crack down on the way some departments are run.

BAC 1-11 has as it stands been denied hangar space by the IWM so faces the prospect of spending the winter outside in its primer coat. Very disappointing for those of us who’ve put in the hard work to get it to this point.

Yup I would have thought so too.

I’ll not comment more until I know the facts about the decision but seems mad to me. Also knocks morale of DAS volunteers (but I don’t think that concerns the IWM too much).

I thought, heard somewhere, that it was going into hanger T2 north to be painted…

How the ruddy heck did that AN-2 manage to stay in the air today ? That blinkin great biplane turned in heading west, and just sat there, and sat there, and sat there.. with practically zero noticeable forward airspeed. I was transfixed in awe, expecting it to simply fall out of the sky (which thankfully it didnt) :).

Who says slow aircraft are boring? A remarkable aeroplane and even more remarkable display. Nice one.

    Rob

I love it when the Storch does the same. But, like you say, seeing the AN-2 yesterday, was half expecting it to drop like a stone, was a pretty amazing sight….:)

It’s the only place the Red Arrows were this weekend.

Unless of course it is an attempt a joke! That must be it. It seems to be lacking a couple of elements to be a joke though. Being funny is the first one. Original being the other.
A “woman parking a car” joke. My God, it really is still the 1970s in some places isn’t it.

    Oooo, sarcasim………:D

Was you by any chance up by the M11 end?
