Thanks for the help with getting in touch, we have now made contact with the Sally B guys.
Richard
Does anyone know if the Sally B guys are taking 2013 show bookings yet? we have emailed, but have heard nothing back… we’d like to book her into the Military and Flying Machines show at Damyns Hall, but the paperwork clock is ticking.

Military and flying machines show, upminster…
Excellent! 🙂
Setember 26 is a Thursday, is that right?
Richard.
I have bought a ‘reduction gear’ from a friend of mine. it came from a friend of a friend who has had it for “ages”, so the history is kind of vague, but as far as it know it came from a Sabre engine from an aircraft recovered from ‘Off the Isle of Grain’
can anyone shed any light on what aircraft it may have been, or is the story fantasy? it certainly looks very similar to the cogs I can see on the pics above.
Thanks crispy, is this a regular run? Or just a one off? I’d have loved to have got to see it… Do they publish the runs anywhere?
Richard
*edit. Just found steam dreams website with the details on… I think we’ll go to old Leigh and watch the return tonight…

We just saw, from the car, a big diesel pulling some vintage coaches and a steam engine along the C2C line… Can anyone shed any light on what they might be doing or where they might be going?

Me, My Dad, and my 7 year old son went and we had a fantastic day, so thank you very much for opening it up!
My son has drawn a picture of the vulcan to take into school today, and has not stopped telling everyone about going up into the cockpit/navigators area. He loved it, and we all had a brilliant time, and we will be back!
