Hi All,
Is not the real reason why the Steel industry has gone **** up simply because of greed by those who sold the steel industry down the rivers ? Of coarse like the reasons Charlie mentioned you can factor those in to the collapse as well, as with the vast quantities of cheap steel coming out of China at the time, even they have had to cut back IMO because they flooded the market and now just ruined it for all country’s who rely on their steel industry’s.
Not only was the steel cheaper to produce allegedly it was inferior to the UK steel. You only have to look how it bends when they are laying new rail tracks it’s like rubber In some film shots I have seen. A neighbour (RIP Alf) once told me his brother in-law worked in the steel manufacturing side and had him and his wife stay in Sheffield many moons ago. He said the way the steel was produced then compared to how it is produced now you would think it was two different types of steel, he said it never used to bend the way it does now so I can only deduce from that the steel is of a softer compound for whatever reason. ??
Apart from the above you could see it a mile off that TATA would shut down our industry first because we just cannot compete with other country’s who are producing steel for them as a company, I think that they will close even those that are making profit so they could keep their own plants in India going IMO.

Hi All,
bazv,
Here you are then matey try this google page tv streaming/Stick comparisons :- https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=recommended+tv+streaming+sticks
If I had to pick one NETFLIX would be my recommendation as they air their own tv films and series that are not available to other tv outlets……….
Alternatively buy a smart Tv usually comes with Netflix ready channel all you have to do is contact Netflix and talk to them about their service then it’s just pay for what you watch or for a package as far as I know.

It’s called Flying Legends, not Classic Jets. I don’t recall seeing any jets at a Legends show.
Hi All,
Being as the show is a Warbird themed show surely the 262 fits into this category also the 262 is a legend in it’s own right….
Also as for the runway length could it not be based at Cambridge Airport or even Stansted ?
Geoff.
Hi All,
Charlie,
Just like yourself matey left home all toys given away  I gave all my Airfix kits to my younger cousins who later in life admitted they were gone within a month or tw as most had bangers stuffed in them and thrown out the window….:apologetic:

Hi All,
I watched Seventh Son which was panned by the critics, I enjoyed the Fantasy romp some dodgy CGI at times but the Jeff Bridges characters voice was grating but those are my only two niggles. Starring Jeff Bridges,Julianne Moore,Ben Barnes,Alicia Vikander,Kit Harington,Olivia Williams,Antje Traue,Kandyse McClure,
Djimon Hounsou,Jason Scott Lee and John DeSantis………………:eagerness:
Centuries ago, a supernatural champion named Master Gregory (Jeff Bridges) defeated Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore), a malevolent witch. Now, she has escaped imprisonment and thirsts for vengeance. She summons her followers and prepares to unleash her wrath on humanity. Only one thing stands in her way: Master Gregory. Gregory takes Tom Ward (Ben Barnes) as his new apprentice, but he has only until the next full moon to teach Tom what usually takes years: how to prevail against dark magic.

Hi All,
And back to another old red Tony…………:D
Geoff.
Hi All,
I have not been to Legends for years but would have thought by now they would have been able to have the Me262 Replica come over from Germany, or would that be either just to costly in the first place or if they did manage to acquire it as a participant would it then blow most of their budget restricting the other participants ?
Geoff.
