Very sad day today just shows that although the pilots fly with great expertise accidents can still happen to the elite of pilots RIP Kevin Whyman.

    Hi All,
Why not paint CLOSED on the white cliffs at Dover they may get the message…:D Don’t kid yourselves I would say the vast majority are only on their way here for the financial benefits that we offer and their own governments keeps for themselves. I am certain that there are some who have a legitimate
reason but like Post 13 points out they are mostly men.
Dare I say that if they are successful they will get financial assistance then send the majority of that money home ? This has been a problem with certain eastern European claimants after having worked in this country, allegedly loosing their job, claim but send the money back home ? simply because their own governments do not have the want to support their own unemployed…….:(

I take it your not a big fan of Mr Evans ? 😀 I agree with the points you raise but would leave out the personal stuff as it’s his life and none of our business (whether you like it or not)…:p

    Hi All,
Well were on a run here Moggy ref post 7 I totally agree about Dr Who….:eagerness: As for Top Gear just like you I will give it a watch but will expect a few teething problems during the 1st series but given Chris Evens success in other media shows he knows what the petrol heads want being one himself.
I would think the biggest obstacle in his path is JC’s enormous shadow, if he can get out of that with a better show then it should be good if not then the show will ultimately fail sadly because he will give it his all, I suppose another hurdle will be to woo the TG fans and keep them watching rather than investing Netflix ?

    Hi All,
This is the same team who found the Baltic Anomaly dubbed by some because of it’s shape the (Underwater Millennium Falcon). While they are earning funds to find out exactly what that object is ? I suspect this submarine discovery would be one of their bread and butter projects they do as a full time profession and they would be ltd to how much they could say I assume ?

    Hi All,
    Dazdaman,
The books are way better than the series according to reviews, although the series follow more or less true to the same story line up till series.5 then they wander of coarse according to reviews. I am a big fan having watched all of the series and I can tell you that series 5 is a cracker despite not sticking true to the novel and now looking forward to series.6 promises to be another spectacular only keeps getting better IMO
The Game Of Thrones books are my next to buy or should I say wish list so would love to know what you think please ?

    Geoff.
