The Sun was celebrating with it’s usual sloppy journalism thinking like all to Often in the media inc TV:- We’ll just bung what pictures as a representation rather than Googling the correct era aircraft photos that are freely available and that are flying namely Mk1 Spit and ME 109E just using a Griffon engine Spit and Hispano 1112 as inserts. No mention either of the Defiant/Blenheim/CR42/Me110 etc. I may be a bit picky but these journalists are paid to do a job, you would expect like I have mentioned before about some documentary’s they would get the content correct, especially when proclaiming the story
as “JULY 10 REMEBERING THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN 75 YEARS ON” in a single article spread over two separate pages. It really deserves and should have been in the centre as a pull out IMHO but instead you have some bimbo telling “I was quizzed by cops over house party punch-up” :stupid: what an insult to those brave men on each side but mainly to those who stood in the path of Hitler’s European take over. May god bless them all….

Thinking how the PM and all his cronies are making such a fuss of providing a lasting memorial to the Tunisian murders (Which is quite right to have one) yet he is still refusing to have one for Lee Rigby were he was murdered, instead passing the buck to the local authority who say it would be the target for vandals or draw radicals to celebrate his death ? In my mind the same could be said of the one they are planning for the Tunisian atrocity it really looks like he is just scoring points with the general public, if he would only be even handed when backing projects like these that both warrant recognition…….:mad:
