    Hi All,
I personally hope that if the Shackleton is being stripped most of the reusable/Restorable components are going to the Coventry based WR963, talking of which with only 594 Flying Hr’s left how could you extend that or would it mean a main spar change ?

    Hi All,
Thought of getting a High profile Ex-RAF Backseater say John Nichol ? who recently included Easy Elsie in a documentary about 617’s exploits after the Dams raid, dare I suggest the RAF full stop,617 Association, RAF Veterans Association, Bomber Command Association ? Any number of these would surely be beneficial to if only in the form of publicly backing your cause let alone a petition you could ask us to sign on line then hand in to the Swedish embassy.
What I can’t understand why the Swedish authorities will not help with it’s repatriation as if this aircraft truly meant anything to them it would have been preserved many years ago what happened to the Turrets, Engines etc.etc. surely these must be somewhere preserved and this is the only reason I can see why they want to put certain conditions to it’s repatriation back to the UK. 🙁
As for FACEBOOK like or loath it (My preference), it can reach interested parties very quickly and effectively more so than a petition can it’s that simple and has proved so time and again.

    Hi All,
It doesn’t matter how well behaved or trained a dog is it could at any time revert to basic instincts just like humans do.

    Hi All,
Tony this was featured on a youtuber channel called DAHBOO7 some of his stuff is interesting alternative news wise though to be honest a bit of a conspiracy theorist fail on this particular story, In his video he portrays this as the separatists movement in Eastern Ukraine being so short on weapons they have turned to resurrecting WWII era tanks such as this, only two problems really Ammunition being the 1st and Spare parts 2nd just as starters.:D
All credit to the lads who got it going a pity we couldn’t get some more armour over here started up but all credit due again to those who do restoration on these magnifiscent beasts all around the world.

One of the best pieces of art in recent years as I have already posted that I think is outstanding is Simon Atacks – Hopgood’s Couragous Run of which I have a full width Remarque and I am in the process of purchasing his original pencil work Stirling Corkscrew Evasion both excellent pieces of work in my opinion .

Sea Vixen has been difficult to manipulate. However, the F-5 is always fun to do.

    Hi ALL,
I was thinking about this particular frankenplane, seems the Iranians have already beaten you to the draw :highly_amused:

    Hi All,
Definitely STUPID OWNERS! Although I will add that all dogs no matter what breed you cannot totally trust them, after all they are just wild animals that we have tamed and still have that smidgen of wildness in their genes, this is especially true when young children are around as dogs can and do get very jealous of the attention normally given to them going elsewhere, but again it comes down to the owners being in the same place and not leaving toddlers alone with the most docile of dogs as these could still bite when mistaking a child’s action as being aggression.
