You know I see it on other forums smart **** comment’s from people who obviously think they are in the know or of a higher intellect than others, I always thought that these forums where a place where like minded people come together and share information no matter what your background but in the main have a common interest in this case the field of Aviation. Does it really matter how many times a question is repeated just point those who ask in the right direction, you have people on forums from all walks of life some know a great deal some like myself have a tiny amount of knowledge but always welcome learning more as the forums can be a good learning aid to your particular interest.

I always wondered why the team of WR693 never targeted the Long Marston Shackleton for spares, but I am just glad that someone has seen fit to end it’s days of misery as she has been sitting in the current location for years slowly dilapidating and begging for a proper restoration as have all the other airframes good luck fella. :eagerness:

Watched ‘ The Divide ‘ well worth a watch a group of people trapped in a basement during and after an Nuclear attack. very dark but shows human nature as it would be I think.

I once read that all radio and TV transmissions just go on for ever into outer space. Depressing to think that some advanced intelligence out there may be judging us from watching old episodes of Crossroads or Mork & Mindy.

What amazes me is that like you say above we transmit for all and sundry, yet the odd thing is we haven’t received anything similar from deep space or at least that is what we have been told :confused: Either that or any signal that has been captured hasn’t been deciphered yet ?
