mrmalaya,
just read your post many thanks for the suggestions. :eagerness:

The EAP was the development prototype for the Typhoon project… just like the X-35 was for the F-35.
Bager1968,
I know it was a development aircraft/Proof of technology aircraft but had Britain decided to pull out of the Typhoon project or any of the other partners pull out Ref:-France ,the Typhoon would not have got off the drawing board like so many other aircraft that stay on paper.
Maybe I should have explained better in the post I hold my hands up but I still say if the government had given the go ahead for development of our own aircraft instead of relying on partners the EAP would have probably been a classic fighter as was mooted at the time unless I am mistaken if I am my apologies. 😮
Don’t get me started on that F-35 money spent on a white elephant if ever there was one it has grown on me slightly from certain angles but that is a whole new thread but many thanks for your info. 🙂

Not sure how up to date it is ?
Hi Alan,
Many thanks for the reply I tried the site like you suggested but no luck as for up to date goes bang on there is no record of any of the two crashes I am trying to find out about as far as I know there where no fatalities in both crashes but the MOD has denied any knowledge of them ever happening and I may as well admit YES it has to do with a UFO there was a thread similar not long ago so I will have to check and see if he got any answers.
The basics of it is it happened in Scotland and I am just trying to help in any way like I would for anybody else so thought why not thread it but it appears I have upset one person so if the mods delete this thread that’s it.
Geoff.
There are some reliable resources available on the internet. Resources which worked perfectly and were not blocked by any alleged men in black.
Obviously I won’t point such sites to you, seen the amount of smiles you put in your posts.
Often “military crashes ” means the death of the pilots involved.
Nothing to smile about, IMHO and I guess many aviation enthusiasts – no matter their nationality – will agree on this, ignoring your smiley requests for help.
Who is making light of the fact that pilots where lost you have obviously mist my point with the smiles and if I have offended you it was not intentional. I would never intentionally mock the dead all the same if it was offensive the mods would have deleted it ?
Instead of shooting from the hip try thinking of the context it was meant the picture gives you a clue if you want to know why send me a PM and I will explain further ? After all you are the only one who I have offended with post unless any one else wants to wade in then if it offends a number of others I will edit the post.
Try reading the starter thread it may make sense ? my second thread was in answer to the reply I had so where have I offended ? I will address the smiles for you
1ST-Eagerness would like help please. 2nd- Same again 3rd-obvious to what I refer,4th-usauly put that after my name,5th-Eagerness self explanatory text also.
Hope this addresses your complaint if not please feel free to eke it up with anybody else or the mods.

I always liked the EAP in my mind the RAF would have had a very capable fighter years ago if this country had the gonads to give the go ahead I am sure the pilot after his first flight said don’t change a thing he really loved it,but just like our already mentioned lost winner it has fell by the way side.
Typhoon you can’t knock it but by now if there where any bugs in the EAP they would be ironed out, that plus it would be a good overseas seller as it’s a bit smaller than Typhoon but what it is to dream :love-struck:
Geoff.:D
Mark,
So there may be a slim chance of an appearance at a future Legends show then ? that begs the question though why we haven’t seen the 262 over here ?
Geoff.:D
It’s a shame that the Russians don’t get the respect or notice they have earnt for bravery in WWII not much is ever said in particular about the women not just in the Russian air force but all women involved but the article sheds a little light on one of the hero’s may she get the respect she deserves as all the women should.
God bless Nadezhda Popova your in a better place now.
Geoff.
