Hi All,
According to the History channel Falklands special it was a very ,very close run thing on all fronts perhaps mainly loss of equipment on the sunk container ship ?
Geoff.
Hi All
I agree they gave gave their lives in the pursuit of giving us the pleasure of seeing them displaying a beautiful aircraft. To all us aviation Geeks,Nuts,Fans etc.etc. I echo your sentiments and add they and other tragic accidental passing’s should be known as the new veterans of the skies and give a thought to the Family’s who have had their loved ones taken π
Geoff.
Hi All,
I seem to remember a piece about the lightning holding its own against some F-16 over the N.Sea when they bounced from flying low just above the waves (would love to have seen that :dev2:) can’t remember where I saw the article but made me think twice about it being a point and shoot aircraft then run away very bravely for tea and biscuit’s as one pilot put it in an interview :highly_amused:
Still no matter what such a beautiful aircraft but I wonder what pilots thoughts would be of all the different Mk’s would be and would they differ from what Mr Beaumont initially thought and of his subsequent flights in development aircraft.
Geoff.
Sorry tried to edit the reply no end of times but kept adding to the last edit so gave up in the end still the gist of it was lighten up dear its just a forum.

Hi Daliborsky,
Good video & glad to see that the Eastern Europe is still a land of surprise and full of promise visited Bulgaria a few years ago got off a bus middle of knowhere saw an abandoned Mig15 (Old Military Base) had a great rummage around just amazed at the stuff lying abandoned in your part of the world. π
Geoff.
Hi Easyrider525B,
Just thought I would say fantastic pictures as always but in the Nimrod picture the forward fuselage looks dull is this it’s natural colour or lighting conditions within the hanger please as I assumed that it would be glossy ?
Geoff.
Hi All,
Wasn’t it a case of those who know what their talking about not being listened too by those who think they know what they are talking about  I know to my cost in the past it’s true π A beautiful aircraft with so much potential reminds me of another beauty TSR2:love-struck:
Geoff.
Then it grew up into this X-58 :- π Not black but kind of. :highly_amused:
Or if you prefer a bit of black with big Bristol’s :- :dev2:
Hi Again on a lighter note,:p
Of course there is an alternative service ‘PARCEL FORCE’ I am sure that the delicate hands of the Neanderthals :dev2: that appear to be employed would be able to squeeze K114 into an ordinary container:);):highly_amused: that is if they do containers but this sums up some feelings about them. http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4rSXqYjNGoπ
Geoff.
Browsing and just found this thought this was better as other was just illusion of flying low but I recommended visit to the site below if not suggested before.
Geoff.
From one lovely bit of black to another :dev2:

I agree with Mr Merry I am sure it was mentioned in the Flypast special on K114 along the lines of a specially constructed container as none where big enough. just a thought while we are on the subject so to speak Mr Yegan was alleged to have bought the fw-189 project but there has been no mention since the thread a while back or in the following link if anybody’s interested :- ]http://www.warhistoryonline.com/war-articles/beach-museum-owner-sellingβ¦] surely if he had it would mentioned but I cannot find any updates anywhere.
