    HI All,
    Snafu,Lincoln7 and Richard Grey,
The owner who was nicked actually left his helmet behind when he toddled off with his passenger. My apologies for that vital piece of missing information , Jim thanks for the info I just couldn’t work out why if the scooter had no Insurance or Tax why it was legal for the copper to ride it, but many thanks all the same for the info.

    Hi All,
I repeat what John Green has put :eagerness: In reality though how many will actually do this ? or how many business’s etc.etc. will also act on this Idea ?
I remember traveling on the Coventry ring road one armistice day with my father driving when all the traffic stopped for a minutes silence, but I have never heard of the like for years since. I just cannot see it happening as what happened in the past to most is all to easily forgotten unfortunately in this day and age there is no respect for what happened at all during the wars that this country’s and others young Men and Women fought and had their lives taken.

    Hi All,
Surprised nobody put this blinder in – Oh Superman by Laurie Anderson. :highly_amused:

O Superman. O judge. O Mom and Dad. Mom and Dad.
O Superman. O judge. O Mom and Dad. Mom and Dad.
Hi. I’m not home right now. But if you want to leave a
message, just start talking at the sound of the tone.
Hello? This is your Mother. Are you there? Are you
    coming home?
Hello? Is anybody home? Well, you don’t know me,
    but I know you.
And I’ve got a message to give to you.
    Here come the planes.
So you better get ready. Ready to go. You can come
as you are, but pay as you go. Pay as you go.

And I said: OK. Who is this really? And the voice said:
This is the hand, the hand that takes. This is the
    hand, the hand that takes.
This is the hand, the hand that takes.
    Here come the planes.
They’re American planes. Made in America.
    Smoking or non-smoking?
And the voice said: Neither snow nor rain nor gloom
of night shall stay these couriers from the swift
    completion of their appointed rounds.

‘Cause when love is gone, there’s always justice.
And when justive is gone, there’s always force.
And when force is gone, there’s always Mom. Hi Mom!

So hold me, Mom, in your long arms. So hold me,
    Mom, in your long arms.
In your automatic arms. Your electronic arms.
    In your arms.
So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.
Your petrochemical arms. Your military arms.
    In your electronic arms

    Hi All,
I may be controversial here but don’t we all need to step back and look at what was the meaning behind the original comment ? His reference to Hitler was not a recommendation that he follow his example more about a bloke who captured his audience and like or not he could do that that’s all may be he could chosen a netter descriptive manner.
As far as I am concerned Hitler was at the essence of all evil through WWII it was his stamp of approval over everything right from his climb into politics to his leadership of Germany and his dream of world domination the fact that millions believed goes to show he was a master at the art of delivering speeches’ with his belief spreading amongst those who attended the rallies even before WWII started.
I truly believe that is what was meant by the comment.

    Hi All,
White house down – If you can ignore the bad CGI and the rather naff ending not a bad watch but kind of like Die hard at the Whitehouse. 😀
I tried very hard to watch Hammer Of The Gods until the music kicked in  features Clive Standen(Ragner’s brother Rollo) from the far superior series Vikings which I have enjoyed S1 just waiting for a re-run of S2 and the History Channel have commissioned S3 for 2015 :applause:

    Hi All,
Depression is an illness unlike any other add on top of that Alcohol and Drug dependency it is a ticking time bomb and unfortunately Robins went off!
This much missed star hid his problems like most depressive sufferers even with the help of close Family and Friends he still could not cope. Depression afflicts all walks of life it is just that it is a taboo subject for many, most do not like to admit they have a problem as it is invariably linked to being labelled with you having a mental disorder with the embarrassment that accompanies for the sufferer.
Unfortunately despite his own and all around giving help the demons got the better of this one of a kind comedian who had to of been the best improve actor around with no exceptions. I first watched him in the Mork and Mindy Tv series and a lot of his films and he showed his versatility in films such as Good Will Hunting/Good Morning Vietnam and The Dead Poets Society, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him and all his fans.
One of lifes brightest stars has gone out RIP Mr Williams:(

    Geoff.
