She can take the F-35C aboard. She can launch and recovered empty or lightly loaded F-35Cs just fine.
I got the idea that sharing carriers ment ,for instance ,we would be able to launch an operation from CG. we can’t do that if CG will only accept empty/light load F35c. If sharing means just a couple of carrier qualification flights then alls good, if we want to do something more meaningfull then CG is no use to us.

You can see I’m making good use of my time at work today:)
It my thought that there is little point in giving CVF Sea viper. Why go to the cost of samson, Astor, silo, extra weight, size, more crew etc,etc, when its all mounted on the destroyer a few miles away. Better to spend the money on buying a couple of extra F35 to fly of it. Just my veiw.
this ship has potential of 116MW of generating power?? how does that stack up to the Ford CVN?
Does that mean she could operate a more advanced sensor system if nessecary and isnt the top speed kind of low then?

CVFs electric motors will use @ 107,500hp for 27 knots while a CVN is @ 280,000 for 33knots
My point is if you want to go 6 knots faster you need to more than double shaft hp. CVN is much larger of course but if you wanted to get @300,000shp out of CVF then it to would have to be larger, more engine room, more shafts, more fuel. Its a trade off, CVF is big but has a reletively small power output for reasonable speed and can use most of its size to operate aircraft rather then push its self along.(lack of said ac is another point)
What would you like to see as sensors that would be substantialy more power hungary then those slated to be installed? At full speed CVF still has @36mw for sensors and hotel functions.
