and what does that camera do, baphomet? Simply records in-flight images for debriefing? Does it have night vision capability? Is it used during the flight by the crew?

AFAIK the camera is used to simply records in-flight images.. pretty basic…

You said you made a model of this a/c… well I have a proyect: build it in 1/72 scale…. can you show us some pìcs of your model? I can use them as usefull references.

….The box in question looks like either a chaff or flare dispenser, though im proberly wrong :rolleyes: ….

this box is an attack camera… the chaff & flare dispensers are located in the fuselage sides after and below the exhausts…

do you know what A-XX designation was chosen for the venezuelan Blackhawks that were cancelled in 2000, after they were ready and waiting for delivery to Venezuela.???

Today, the SU-30 pair arrived to Recife, Brazil… tomorrow they´ll arrive to Venezuela…

Just in time to make the exhibition in Caracas…

I hope to watch them while practicing to the parade…
