😮
he,he,he…
I guess It´d be more similar to the C.10 cockpit than the C.7 ….
but I´m not sure about…
OK guys, here we go…
Venezuela plans to acquire 50 of Russia’s most advanced warplanes…
Venezuela won´t adquire the Mig-29, all info is based in rumors, isolated and non confirmated affirmations and missinformation to say the least…
…says the document signed by the Venezuelan air force commander, Maj. Gen. Regulo Anselini Espin, a copy of which has been obtained by UPI….
He isn´t the current commander of the VAF… he was in charge in late 2001, when the twin-seater Mig-29M2 and a Mig-29UB came to Venezuela for a demostration…
…More than half of Venezuela’s 22 F-16s are currently grounded due to a lack of maintenance and spare parts….
Totally wrong… the operational status of the VAF fleet is OK and currently a modernization program for the fleet is being negotiated with several int´l companies…
ah, BTW the VAF flet is composed of 21 machines not 22…
There are already several MiGs in Venezuela, according to Colombian defense officials who have shown UPI photographs of the planes being prepared for flight testing at the Libertador air base in Maracaibo….
totally wrong again… first, the pics released about the presence of the two twin-seaters MIG-29s (a standard UB and the M2) were totally public… they appeared in the news too…. I have several pics of them… this happened between nov-dec 2001….
..and the Libertador AB isn´t located in Maracaibo…
The sources say that Russia’s defense attache, air force Col. Oleg Krayotin, holds regular meetings with Venezuelan Defense Minister Garcia Carneiro.
…AFAIK, Col. Oleg Krayotin left Venezuela several months ago…
Well guys.. hope this help to clarify the topic…
finally I must to say; after the 2001 demostration and some trials… the VAF technical Commision didn´t approve the adquisition of the MIG-29 for Venezuela…
regards.-
I guess MAA-1 is based on sidewinder, but MAR-1 is based on..???
The line numbers are on the construction plate inside the wheelbay, and are different from the five-digit c/n which is far more commonly known. And, with a little luck, printed all across the airframe.
Thanxx Arthur !!
🙂
when will they arrive to Chile?
BTW, AFAIK there aren´t many pics of the cheetah cockpit out there… or am wrong?
well at least I haven´t seen any untill now…
Well, if anyone has bothered to check the line numbers (which are not the construction numbers :diablo: ), you could check which production batch they are.
 ….
Line numbers? which are they? where usually are they located?
he,he,he…
The FAC-3046 suffered a bird strike that shut off the turbine…
The pilot in order to avoid crash near some houses.. headed the kfir to the Magdalenela river… and ejected…
Sadly the wind directed him to the river too… so he took a dip into the water and almost die due his parachute was dragg by the river.. he cut the lines with his knive and later was recued by some fishermen…
About the external diferences betwen the C.2 & C.7…. hmmm I used to look for the additional pylons under the air intakes…. :p well.. some times it works fine… 😀
and now in lo-viz….

enjoy… :p 😀
