…Cuba only received 4 Mig-29A serial FAR 910-913, and 2 MiG-29UB serials FAR 900, 901….. by the way that MiG-29 has two star painted on the side…..

….It seems the Python-3 (and Chinese-built PL-8) is the only IR-guided AAM I’ve never seen mounted on a wingtip rail. Why is this? Is it just too heavy?
I’ve seen photos of upgraded Mirage F-1’s (in this case anyway), F-5’s (i.e. Chile’s Tigre III), as well as I believe IDF/AF F-16’s….and never seen the missile on the wingtip.

AFAIK, the F-16C in IAF service can carry the Python III series in the wing tips rails, obviously they are more heavier than sidewinders but with the appropiate rails I think isn´t a real problem… I´m looking for a pic I saw from a PythonIII brochure…
BTW, meanwhile I was looking for that PythonIII brochure; I found with this pic from a PythonIV brochure… I guess Ecuatoriano will like it… so enjoy…
