Tomorrow, August 6th, Air Force Test Center will deliver, officially, the first three Super Tucano (FAB service A-29). These aircrafts will be delivered to 3rd squadron of the 3rd Aviation Group at Campo Grande AB to perform COIN, patrol and interception, specially against drug dealers transport aircrafts near the border of Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia and Peru. 😎
Hi A-29…!!!
How many Super tucanos the FAB has bought???
In which camo pattern the first three examples were delivered?
What about their tail codes??
In the other pic an A-37B (I had to post a pic of it because my nickname comes from the A-37B…..known in Peru as ‘sapitos’ or ‘little frogs’) notice the snakeye bombs, also napalm containers and LAU rocket launchers.
Regards
Sapito
Hi sapito…. the snakeyes in the pics have SEMAN titles…. I wonder if these bombs were made in Peru… and about their color… hmmm gray… is this a new operational color instead of Olive green, like the US…??
And finally; about the 500lb WWII “look a like” bombs, are they Napalm???
regards/saludos
