I disagree with the notion that there were two digital machines.. It looks like a sole L-39ZO #751, albeit photographed prior to grey color and the serial having been applied and then after. And exactly this machine has finally found its way to South Sudan.. Correct me if I am wrong, ain’t that a rather convenient way how to pass around embargoes for arms deliveries to conflict zones?
After detailing those pics, I´m quite sure you are right.. it´s the same L-39.

The aircraft might have been overhauled in Ukraine, but it is an ex-German L-39ZO code 28+11.
What I do not understand, however is its true operator because it is the same aircraft (coded 751) as the one carrying the South Sudanese army flag..
Has Uganda donated it to South Sudan?
