    Hi Pembroke,

Not only does the Victor look good, but it sound good, too! I haven’t seen the Vulcan fly, but looking at static photos & being built by the Johnson’s it’s gotta be good, too:)

    Hi Damien,

Wrong wording, I should’ve said, on that day. Great pictures though. The Vulcan looks fantastic!

    Hi All,

The LMA ‘do’ at Cosford is 12-13th July. Although flying is on the Sunday, only. It should be a very good day (pity it clashes with ‘Legends’). It’ll be the only place you’ll see a Vulcan & a Victor fly, this year & I think there’s a BAe Typhoon (model) to finish the day off. There will also be a Bomber fly past, or so I’ve been told. Should be an excellent day.

    Cheers,

    Hi Ashley,

After failing miserably to make Cockpitfest, I ain’t going to make a definite promise. However, it’s on on non working weekend, so either day should be good for me:)

    Hi Mog,

Not a problem! Have you seen how big the doors are at the AAM at Duxford? Purpose built hanger would have big doors accessible to both levels. Also; big stuff at the lower level & the smaller aeroplanes on the upper level.

Better than wrecking restored airframes, surely. Hanging aeroplanes from the roof. Might as well use fibre glass replicas, instead of the real thing.

    Hi Moggy,

I would prefer they built hangers that are right for the job of storing old aeroplanes. Not some bloody great building, that looks great on paper, but is absolutely useless for storing aeroplanes. The solution is very simple in my view. If these hangers were made with 2 floors, then there would be no need to hang old aeroplanes from the ceiling, like Airfix kits or even worse a bloody great steel beam up their ar*e!
