Hi Ralph,
The Mosquito taking off shot reminds me of this picture taken by my late friend, S/Ldr Howard Lees – 8 Group PFF photographic officer. The picture was taken in the Summer of 1944 at RAF Wyton.

Now, where do we find a squadron of B-17’s for the background?

Neil
Hi Ronnie,
Looks like you’re doing a PDG job, to me. Looking at the tail light – the housing is a little to square. It should be a bit more rounded. The trim tab pushrod housing is missing from the right tailplane – but I guess detail like this is still “work in progress”.
Cockpit details – These are some of the pictures I have – some are of TA634, but the instruments are similar. Some of the other stuff is from an NFII, but I think you get the idea.

If you need more precise stuff let me know and I’ll see what I have.
TTFN,
Neil
Hi Ralph,
Great set of pictures – seen some of the Mosquito pics on Facebook – keep ’em coming:cool: Apart from Mosquito pics (they’re superb, but then I’m very slightly biased), I like the Fokker Triplane and Anson shots.
TTFN,
Neil
Superb!
Hi All,
A few more pics from the past!

Last ever Harrier flights!

Thought I’d add this 262 shot – it is a model, but a bloomin’ big one!:)
TTFN,
Neil
Hi Daniel,
Some superb pictures you’ve got there, mate. Love the open cowl shot. Any pictures of the Boomerang in flight – always had a soft spot for this aircraft, since I built an Airfix 1/72 scale kit, when I was a kid.
TTFN,
Neil
Thanks for the update, Bill – I’m drooling at just the thought of a Mosquito and an FW190 in the same airspace together – now that really would be something special!
TTFN,
Neil
Good job Neil.
Not sure which day I’ll be going on , but let me know and we can meet up and I can initiate you in the traditional Tim Horton’s coffee and breakfast bagel before we set off. :p
That sounds like a good plan. I do like good coffee:D I shall be on-site early, though, because I’ve booked the early morning photo pass for both days.
Cheers,
Neil
Thanks, Guys. Just booked flight + car. Now just gotta check out the hotels in the area.
Sat2 – not got my Union Jack flag on a pole, yet – but I do still have a Mosquito Aircrew Association baseball cap;)
TTFN,
Neil
Hi Bill,
Off to the travel agent later on this morning – so I should know what I’m doing, travel wise. All my passes have been bought, so I’m fully committed to going. Roll on June!
Cheers,
Neil
Some great pictures, Alan – thanks for sharing them.
TTFN,
Neil
Nicely done, Martin. Great pictures – thanks for sharing. The Vimy might be a replica, but it’s great to see a golden oldie like that take to the air. Gives me hope that we may see a Mosquito over British skies again.
TTFN,
Neil
Hi Thane,
Welcome to the forum – You’ve got some good pictures there, thanks for sharing. You guys in the Southern Hemisphere have got some great warbirds.
TTFN,
Neil
Thanks for the comments, one and all – always appreciated.
Ant, you’ve not lost your touch for gems of information – that’s a good site to look at, too.
TTFN,
Neil
Hi All,
Whatever engine the Sea Fury has it’s pretty damn impressive. The climb outs were fantastic – the aircraft just seemed to keep going up without losing speed. I hope these few pictures can show just that.

Pegasus, I think we could not have been far away from each other –
TTFN,
Neil
