All the best on the new venture, hope to see them at Prestwick??? anyone know if Volotea will be supplying aircraft for both destinations

In theory not a bad idea but usaully when the aircraft parks at the terminal it usually has 1 airway so only one door can be used anyway (usually). Maybe a slightly wider ailse, so when people are putting lugage into the bins or having to get back out of their seat to let other passengers into the middle window seats, passengers can still pass (of a sorts).

Point taken PMN, and appologies given, just frustrating to see this when the common man/woman is struggling to get by in these difficult times.
We all have to make sacrifices at the moment.

    (was a good rant though)

But is your job as demanding or as important as cabin crew, do your daily actions and responsibilities affect the lives of every person you come into contact with?

Im no expert on aviation, I just like planes. I’m a staff nurse working in a very busy unit where I have the lives of people hanging in the balance every minute of the day for 12.5 hrs as well as extremely upset and occasionally angry loved ones. I earn less than the trumped up trolly dollies for a hell of a lot more stress and hassle. And we also have a pay freeze and the threat of job cuts. You lot have to get real and wake up to the real world. There are alot of people out there who would jump at the chance of your job. Im directly behind BA here, in my eyes they are the UK’s flag carrier and it would be a disaster if they disapeared, ALONG WITH YOUR JOBS.
As for the union. They can’t even organise a legal ballot, open your eyes for god sake!!
    Rant over

    Hi all
Any news on how Palmair did this year?
Are they still using 737-200’s? saw it one year in tenerife, amazing aircraft and loads of people turning up to see/photograph the aircraft.
