    RE: Some home truths!

Well for those who thinks that piracy in SEA(Straits of Malacca)does not effect their personal interest, they should think again.I like to stress here that SOM is the busiest in the world. All of the goods from US/ASIA/EU must passed through this narrow passage in order to reach their destinations on time and at cost.If this passage is blocked by whatever reasons, then most goods wiil be more expensive+certain economy shall be destroy(eg.Singapore).Ja,i’m surprised to know that certain FFV have vessel mounted weapons. This kind of ‘terrorism’should be addressed ASAP.To lesser extent illegal fishing also need to be check regularly.I believe RAN are well versed in this area(Indonesian,China even Japan)seems to be the major violators. On the Fremantle class vessel, i strongly support the moves to replace it with the new Tenix design.RMN have similar design armed with twin 40mm Bofors which are to old to perform their duties effectively. This are to be replace by MEKO 100 NGPV(27 units)the first 2 due in 2003.RAN should equipped its fleet with suitable vessels to counter this menace,ANZAC are to big.Forget about carrier,OPV +helos is the solutions+cheap=no loss of national resources. This OPV can be easily converted into corvettes within days thus could provide the needed surface combattants for combat.

I also believed that most of Israeli ‘civilians’ are equipped with firearms. And i do mean serious firearms like GALILs,SARs,M16s and UZIs.They are trained to use those weapons in combat(most of Israel soldiers-national serviceman). This types of part time soldiers are very dangerous cause they are willing anything in order to save their own lives. They do not respect the rules of engagement especially during high tension situation. If the armed Palestinians could be labelled as terrorist, what about armed, well trained, organised Israelis?I wish Mr Rabin is still around to mend this mess.

    RE: What happened in Jennin?

If we think the middle east crisis is between Isreali and the Muslims, then were dead wrong.About 35 percent of Palestinians are Christians and get the same treatment from the Israeli cause they’re PALESTINIANS.Last Easter the Palestinians were hunt down, houses demolished and various act aggressions were put upon them .In my personal opinion it is the Israeli govt(not the people)that should be labell as the ‘terrorist’.If im not mistaken (forgive me if im wrong)2 of the past Israeli leaders were convicted for the act of terrorism during the early years of the Israeli state.Anybody got any info on this ?

Most of the world bodies believe that there more than 50 fatality. They need to really find out what really happen, maybe just maybe the Palestinians lied about the fact.Beside the bodies have to removed asap and the civilians do not even a spade to dig them out.

If there’s going to be another terrorist attack in the US,they should not put the blame solely on the Al Qeada. They have their very own policy makers to share the blame.US always put Israel as their no1 priority and every time the international com. wants to do something about the mideast, they use every tactics to veto it.Jenin is the latest example of modern day tragedy due to our ignorance towards the value of humanity.

    RE: Favourite Holiday Destination

Malaysia is the best spot in SEA cause we offer the best of Asia in one small package. We have the most modern airport in the world(KLIA),the tallest building in the world(with skybridge)PETRONAS TWIN TOWER,world biggest perhistoric cave(Mulu cave),world oldest rainforest with amazing flora and fauna. We are multiracial(malay, chinesse, indian, eurasian, iban, dayak, kadazan…etc)and practice various religion and cultures. If you are into historical things,we have extensive sites from the days of the Malay kingdom,Portugese,Dutch and British. Our beaches are one of the best in the region+islands which offer amazing diving sites like Sipadan/Ligitan(do not worry, the armed forces have some 5000 men to guard those places)Shopping is a bliss cause our exchange rates are on your side(eg.1euro=RM 3.5)and this means that you could spend more.Tech. is very advance here,we have extensive transport systems such as STAR LRT,PUTRA LRT(subway),KTM KOMUTER,MONORAIL,and the recently launched ERL high speed train.Above all i personally recommend Malaysia as your holiday destination cause Malaysia is truly Asia.

    RE: Israel vs Palestine

Fact.Any act of aggressions against civilians by both unorganised militia or state funded military force should be classified as act of terrorism.OIC(Org.of Islamic States)declared this during their special session on terrorism in Malaysia last week.So technically both Palestinians and Israelis who practice such act are terrorist.Fact.Ex Israeli army officer disclosed (in Malaysia)that Sharon wanted peace with the Palestinians.Sharon is responsibble for the brutal Shabra/Shatilla massacre back in the 80’s.Fact.The Palestinians DO NOT want to stop fighting. They are determined to claim back their land and in the long run want to see the disappearance of the Israeli state(to the Palestinians,Israelis just a military power not a state)from the middle east. The west created Israel in order to be nice after the so call ‘holocaust’ at the expend of the Palestinians.Fact.Dont expect any long term solution, they wont be any.Fact.Certain countries (OIC) such as Malaysia are willing to send peacekeepers to the mideast, but most Arab state wont do nothing except talk.Talk is cheap.Fact.So call oil embargo wont work cause the oil the gulf belong to the US.
