Saw Downton Abbey film. I liked the TV series and I liked this just as much, if not more.

I regret the whole shameful affair. The misleading Bus The generated fear of immigrants created and the falsehood about ‘getting our country back’. Please read how and why the EU was created, read the details on how its run. Please.

Thank you all for your contributions and the web address of the CAA website. There are several scenarios that have to be covered even with flying. The CAA have done a lot of work trying to plan options.

After 40+ years of membership, loads of ‘T V debates’, and the detailed work that has to be done even for a clean break; to have had everything reduced to ‘control of our boarders’, a bus with ‘… 5 hospitals could be built..’ and ‘sovereignty of Westminster’ (which surely has been disappearing since before Suez),

I am left feeling that to coin a phrase we are travelling on a wing and a prayer and keeping our fingers crossed too.

Viscount, I suppose what really upset me was that the response so far on this thread has echoed the situation on the news broadcasts and in parliament.

I posted in Commercial Aviation because the people who are in the trade, so to speak, would be able to enlighten me on the nuts and bolts of leaving and highlight those areas which could / would present the most problems. Or the benefits.

Well thank you. One says It’s not fear it is reality, and the other says I doubt as it is in nobody’s interest. Is this the best you can do? I was expecting Its all tosh created by the left wing press, and at least some reasoned argument. I conclude it is a non question so I will get my coat and leave.

I thoroughly enjoyed the programme. Have got it on record just so I do not miss anything. The Big Ben section was eye opening for us.

In 7 years, a trip to mars might be a real possibility by then. Oh, you want to return home afterwards, that might be problematic. A cruise does not appeal to me and the list of things to do on a ship seems limited. Also why are the ships so big. The photos of them tide up in Venice seem sacrilege to me. We flew to Las Vegas spent a few nights there, then hired a car and drove to LA via Monument valley and Grand canyon, stopping overnight as necessary, all pre-booked from UK. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. You might like to be self sufficiency or very active, even dangerous. Then again you might prefer to hire a cottage in the lakes for six months and write that book.

I’d be a bit jittery if I was with the cat on his 9th ship.

    Hi
I enjoyed this programme too. I particuarly enjoyed the old film of the white Vulcans with the pilots explaining that the targets were railway junctions etc!
