Sylvia Peters and Mary Malcolm, who I believe died only recently, are two presenters I remember from my far-off youth.
This site has some videos of the little interlude films that used to appear between BBC programmes in the 50s,including my favourite, the white kitten.

Thanks for the info I will check it out.

Perhaps someone will give the correct reason for the shrinking of the credits to advertise the next programme, but I think it is because of the remote control and so many channels to change to that the BBC/ITV wants to beat the channel flicker and let them know whats on next before they flick channels.
It does not make it good practice though.

Finding item A in rack or pocket holding items B in stores and supermarkets. From cards to clothing to books.
This is happening more and more and I find it really iritating. The sad part is I have begun to tidy up the rack and put it back in its right place.

When I hear about people going to casualty when really they should see their own doctor. People seem to be losing any thought of what affect their actions will have on others. why?

Mr Assange could have sold the details to the highest bidder, or perhaps he did? if he didn’t why didn’t he?
I am becoming more indifferent to governments protests the older I get.
I have already given up on any news be it radio TV or newspapers as being in any way genuine.:diablo::confused:
