The public want to fly on the cheap. They don’t care about who’s driving, how many are driving, how little they are paid or how badly the drivers are treated.
Also, as Deno says, there are people who will pay for the chance to be a pilot. So why cut the co pilot when there are people who will do it for free?
It’s just a publicity stunt.

Ckings pretty much right, and so is Deano. We’re pretty much forced into forking out alot of money to train as a pilot now and with no sponsorship now the airlines just dictate the show unfortunately.
A friend of mine recently joined FR as a first officer. I feel sorry for him. It must feel quite bad to have your boss believe that an air hostess can do your job (whether its a publicity stunt or not)
