    EGTC, negative mate, the dakota has been there for several series…its a museum exhibit i believe…id love to know where it is to visit

    Oh yes, I forgot it was in Primevil too! Wasnt that the one with the T-rex?

    I saw the Dakota on it this evening but I only caught a glimpse of it, maybe a second or so but I thought it might of been the BBMF Dakota – probably transiting through.

    I think the B747 in the background was once a BA plane, before going to European and then it was retired and used in Casino Royale.

    I dont think silverjet’s B767’s are at Luton anymore? I’m sure they were ferried off elsewhere and maybe flying for different companies now.

    I think the B737-800 in the topic pic is more likely to be Ryanair 🙂

    When you say you have a PPL for life because of the NPPL does this mean your license is valid regardless to whether you fly 12hrs a year or not?

    The cost is the most annoying part to flying and right now im stuggling to fund my hour building. Im lucky in a way, a friend of mine owns a plane (Beech Musketeer) and asked me to do formation flying in it last week so I can keep my hours up.

    Apparently G-LCYB has been retained due to lack of EMB190 crews. So that is atleast one Avro flying around LCY.

    Thanks very much for the comments 🙂
    I believe there is the occasional airship at Cardington from time to time 🙂 There is a no fly zone imposed over those hangars.

    I missed out on a chance to fly again today – my friend text me and I was outside working on our fish pond and didnt have my phone with me. Ashame as he offered me a flight to aero expo at Wycombe – i’ve not been there yet!
