One of my old instructors told me about the air inside BAe 146’s. Has that problem been solved now?
Ahh yes, I remember snoopy but was never fortunate enough to see the aircraft myself.
No problem 🙂 I often taxi past her when shes outside being prepared for flight but this is the first time i’ve been there and able to actually photograph her without trying to taxi a C150 at the same time. 😀
The bits on the wings I think are to study cloud physics, but dont quote me on that.
Also for more info on FAAM they have a website that includes info on what they do and also gives position reports of where the plane is inflight..
G-LUXE was flying out of Cranfield yesterday to monitor the ash cloud and will also be doing the same today.
Hmm! Looks like its slowly rolling accross manchester and heading towards London tomorrow according to the most recent update.
Interesting.
So they would become united?
I’ve got to addmit that im not enjoying that idea from a photography perspective – Northwest gone, sounds like Continental will also go if this merger goes ahead. Funny how the likes of northwest and Continental were so eager to get in at Heathrow and now it seems both are about to disappear.
I didnt think it was possible to exclude maths and science in GCSE choices as I thought they were compulsory? Has that changed?
Nice shots 🙂
Oh, he has the NIMBY outlook – i’ll move right near an airport and the airport will do what I say?
Its ashame that they are forcing the B727 out.
Mind you, if those companies decide they dont want to drop the B727 the airports will lose the services instead.
Great stuff 🙂
Some nice and lucky catches there too!
I didnt realise MEDE and MIDL had been WFU!
Wow thats alot that are leaving!
Is bmibaby getting smaller or are those B737’s being replaced?
Thanks Tony! Yeah it was quite high when it came over and this is my only photo of a DC8 😎
Lucky catch with that Pakistan airforce A310!
Its a fairly regular thing.
When I lived near Heathrow we used to get a twin prop come over in the early hours of the morning checking the ILS etc. I think it was about twice a year or so, it even made approaches to runway 23 which was not ILS equipped.
Theres also Flight Calibration Services ltd. I photographed G-FCSL at Cranfield back in 2008 and that was used to test the ILS etc.
