Watching the Lancaster flypast at Bletchley Park with a few friends made me smile today!!
I think it stands that you can take photos from your mates plane but you are not allowed to sell (make a profit) them.
I have a PPL, im hour building and take photos when I fly, my instructors also did the same during their hour building too.
