If you’re doing that at Cranfield uni, as it says, maybe you should come over to the airport and speak to some of us pilots that fly from there or the instructors at the flying schools and even the ATC up in the tower.
I’ll fill it in later tonight, if that is okay? I am a little busy this afternoon.

DGH, does G-AMPY still fly? I’m sure I heard last year that it had stopped and was now on display at Airbase. I got this pic below on departure from coventry on September 29th 2011 and assumed the info I heard was right and that G-AMPY was a museum only aircraft now..

I’ve got to say I agree with Snoopy7422. Cornwall isn’t the most affluent place. During my 7yrs down there I never met anyone outside of the flying club that was interested in aircraft, apart from my driving instructor but even he once had a PPL.
Sometimes I went weeks without flying due to fog or wind and rain. Gales always seemed to be a weekly occurrence when I lived down there.

Will all the aircraft be hangared if they do move to Newquay?
