Doors4, I agree that the One World livery should be standardised properly like other alliances. I have always felt the One World livery looks alot like it was just thought up in 5mins to be rapidly applied.
I prefer SkyTeam’s, it looks more professional as such.

I don’t think i’ve seen pics from you before but after seeing these you should post more often!!! 🙂
I particularly like the one of G-MIDY as thats my favourite BMI plane. 🙂

Is the Finnair One World livery going to be applied to all OW partners or will Finnair be the only one to sport other members tails on their fuselage?

Nice shot of D-ABXL too, I believe thats the oldest plane in Lufthansa’s fleet.

Good luck to them. The ATC there are a real nice bunch and I wish them and the rest of the airport staff all the very best of luck in finding new employment.

Its ashame that these workers and the city of plymouth must suffer a loss like this thanks to poor management, a property developer with an agenda and poor council decision making.

I’ve been wondering the same. BMI has a special place in my heart after taking me on for work experience in 1999. My school had recommended BA and I spoke to them as a friend of mine had been accepted there and all they said was ‘No, we dont do work experience’ and then turned their backs on me so I left. BMI was great and took me on and I had an awesome time. Great people and company.

Does this mean trains with more carriages, more people standing for three hours?Maybe a faster coach service from heathrow that can do it under five hours?

Argh i’ve done that coach route (infact, I got on at Redruth) to visit family in London. I am glad I live in MK now and that family are only 1hr away.

Plymouth council seem to be out of touch with reality. In this day and age of tree huggers and NIMBY’s getting their way the chances are Plymouth will never ever get another airport in the future even if they ever realise that they need one.

Thats how it is now. I think theres no respect and to add to it you get managers that don’t know how to manage.
I remember a job I had a few years ago when me and a woman was assigned to a task. I finished about 10mins ahead of her (she had been there about 20yrs and I had been there for about 2 months) My boss then said ‘you worked too slow’ So I said ‘I actually finished before Sandra, remember?’ To which he ignored my comment. After numerous situations from his poor management I left and ended up in a nice job at a flying school.
Theres too much of a ‘Plenty more where you came from’ attitude from companies and managers these days.

    Ahh nice video!
I did my qualifying cross country in to there in April 2007 in G-BGIU. A lovely bunch in the tower and very helpful.

It is ashame that the airport is closing. Has there been no progress in saving it? I suppose not as I think SHH wanted to turn it into housing from day 1.
Nice way to turn away business to the likes of Exeter and allow Plymouth to continue to fall behind.

Glad to hear your friend is okay, Moggy. Indeed, sad nonetheless though as someone has died and a family is in mourning.

I believe ASN took a guess at the reg and got it wrong, from what I understand on pprune.

Moggy, im not trying to provoke anyone into posting info, but do you get a bad feeling as you feel it might be a forum member or someone you know personally?

I don’t know anyone at Leicester but my heart goes out to those affected.
