Whoah, N167F just came roaring over my house.
What a sound!!
Willem

… and landed in emergency with a broken push-rod (left side). 🙁
Terrible news…
Ray, fly your last flight and join up Marc, we will never forget your perfect air displays and we will never forget what you have done for the world aviation. R.I.P.
Nice pictures J. , very “exotic” !

I know Eric for many years now. I’m proud to say that he is one of my friends. Yes he looks very young but I can tell you that ‘Old Crow’ is in very good and safe hands with him.
Eric, has several thousand of hours of experience, he is captain 767, 737; he flew A320, A330, T-6, Stearman, A-26, Skyraider, Stampe, Moth, Chipmunk, T-28, and many other types.
But over all other considerations, I flew with him and he his ones of those very few pilots that has this amazing feeling and skill who makes the all difference.
He is not THE pilot of “Old Crow” just by luck !
When you own such a plane, you do not chooze the first “junkey” to fly it.Yves:
An humble pilot of B-25J “Russell’s Raiders”
His name is not Eric but Frédéric…
Eric is Frédérics father, Eric flies also Skyraider, BF-109 (!), T-6, Fiat G.46, Storch, …
The warbird spirit is in the family !!
And to support and upgrade the Stieglitz request:
All kind of “Ursel airfield during 40-45”-pictures are welcome!
Excellent pictures J. !
And if anyone is interested in booking the Belgian Flying Legends, contact PRflyinglegends@yahoo.com .

It’s all new for me but I hope to feel “home” asap.

Indeed, we hope to recieve the twin tailed Sarinah!
The theme’s 60 year VE-DAY (Victory in Europe) and 65 year Battle Of Britain gives us a lot of “possible” participation. If you take a view on the http://www.wingsandwheels.be website, you can notice already some aircraft.
