I think that some may be missing a point.
The complainant probably contacted Key to obtain as much info as they hold on these individuals, in order to take action against them (not Key).
This high up moderator seems to have overreacted because he/she has no proper guidelines.
The number of these complaints is going to rocket, because the legal profession has realised that they can sit an office junior at a pc with the sole task of searching the web for defamatory comments regarding current and potential clients. Big money at low cost.
‘Something’ will have to happen. Unfortunately I can’t see what it is. I can’t see that the ‘grown-up’ action of saying “Actually a don’t give a hoot about what some troll says about me” being mooted by lawyers, do you?
Boguing – No it’s the other WD & HO Wills Swallow which was won by the Cornish Gliding Club at Perranporth (see my earlier thread titled “Mr Soggy – Cornish Gliding Club”)
A little Swallow side history. The Camphill WD&HOW Swallow was ‘landed out’ by the Father of my friend Graham. Bit of damage. Graham went on to become ‘Jilted John’ and ‘Ken Shuttleworth’.
Not a lot of people know that.

An excellent reply.
I have an answer, but it will take a day or two.
Thanks for taking me seriously.
I am hoping that somebody slightly more retentive than I, might actually be doing what I didn’t.
A few days ago somebody asked which squadrons had Mosquito XVIs. I got my Mos book and totalled them up for him/her. On a piece of paper. Which I threw away after replying. In these times I hoped that something might exist that would let me dump that for others to see. And so I would not have to ask the original question.
If it transpires that there is not, and it definitely was not my intention, might I be on to something that is worth doing?
I should also say that I have also wondered if there was an online diary/calendar showing which air force sent which aircraft into action and their losses/achievements etc. That could automatically correlate with the opposing force.
It would take years to build, but the data could then be drilled to show an accelerated animation of what happened, when and where.
Fox, you could well be right.
I read something, on t’web yesterday I think, about it leaving Dunsfold. But I can’t find it now.
Edit: I meant that I read it yesterday, and not that it left yesterday. (Although that was the recollection of said reading).
And that would certainly be the right track for a trip North of Gatwick towards the East.
Quite funny if this was the case. My ears told me that Gatwick was a bit quiet today (fog hasn’t lifted until this evening). But a 60+ year old aircraft flies on by.
Hope that it’s correct.
First time that I have a source to help anyone on here.
‘My library’ of specific aircraft titles runs to 1.
And that is because, if ’twas me that won £133M last evening, I need the books to build a new one.
Keys’ Mosquito mag gives:-

Which actually works. There are better videos of his work, but can’t see them at short notice. Multiples of three cylinders are engines. The rest are … not.
He was just using the original ‘Word!’.
You’re spot on.
Turns out that he was firing off a complaint about his Comet voucher being invalid.
I see that Ricketts has an early iPad, wonder what aviation apps he had?
Well my Pa ‘could’ have been in that hole, was RAF groundcrew so not likely (although he did get to fly fairly frequently on test.
Post War he took up gliding and powered. He nearly killed himself on various occasions.
So if it were his bones being shown I would not be in the slightest bit concerned. If DNA could identify them, my Sisters and I would be delighted to get them back. They are only the bones, not the man.
And I far rather see the bones than be in the position that the relatives must be in the case (on here) of a wreck where no remains were found. Despite the rather obvious facts.
Seem to spend most of my life squinting and guessing.
Send me a subject.
I have CAD skills – send me something to draw.
I’m also quite likely to be buying a 3d cutter in some form or other in the next 12 months.
Rather be doing a Hornet, so happy to treat this as practise!
Thanks Astir 8.
Does the other one still exist – I know that it did get a bit bent after an away landing?
