It doesn’t hurt anything. We just warned you that this source is very biaised.
Don’t get me wrong glitter, but how do you know that?
typical troll answer 😉
1st step : i post very reliable infos … like some comments coming from a blog (“the most interesting part” obviously…)
2st step : everyone who will question my behavior is an obvious fanboy
Named whatever you want. It doesn’t change anything…;)
@ Aspis
Here you are with that ref. I promised you :
“Even though the Rafale did not get export contracts yet to promote it,
the MICA has already been exported to many countries including :
Taïwan, Qatar, the U.A.E., Greece, Morocco and Oman. The question of a successor to the MICA is asked today as its obsolescence
will be definitive around 2020-2025 depending on the version considered.
Such a program requires about ten years of development before its
integration on aerial platforms. The PLM [ Military Programming Law ]
has not yet concerned itself with launching studies yet. The industry can’t
engage the program on their own without a strong intent from the MinDef*
Decisions shall nonetheless be taken quickly in order not to be forced to
buy an off-the-shelf American missile in 2020.”From : http://www.assemblee-nationale.fr/13/budget/plf2011/a2862-tVII.asp#P5747_828551
So maybe you could whisper to someone in charge over in Greece that
they should push for participation now and get a nice cut!Good day all, Tay.
P.S. @Marcelosg
Have you ever noticed how that pic shows a Typhoon actually?Oh, and while I’m at it, shouldn’t it be Marcelo_ng? ::rolleyes:
Yes, I have noticed, but no Typhoon had participated on that exercise.
According to this soooo reliable blog quoting an anonymous journalist who got the infos from an anonymous high ranked Fab official : the Rafale also “lost on all questions” , “will never transfer technology” “is a nightmare” , “need the brasilian tropical winds to take off ” and so on … 😮

if you want to troll with more efficience , come back later with reliable infos coming from a credible media 😀
Wake up dude! I am not trolling. I just found that site and news and wanted to share with you guys. That’s all.
LOL… If that info has hurt your Rafale’s “fanboyism”, its not my problem.
According to this Brazilian Site: http://www.aereo.jor.br/2010/11/25/f-4-teria-vencido-o-rafale-no-frisian-flag/#comments ,the Rafale lost against the F-4 Phantom during Frisian Flag 2008. But most interesting part are the comments about the recent CRUZEX exercise in Brazil, where, according to some “insiders”, the FAB’s F-5EMs defeated the Rafale , including a double “kill”.
Another PAK-FA for testing.

Hi folks … As far as the F22 was concerned … he passed us from 4 pm to 11 pm and was detected only once he was clearly within WVR … that too visually. We were not looking for him … He had his eyes on us in an area where there was a lot of military traffic.
A few more answers …
1. I never supercruised in any of the other jets.
2. I never requested supercruise in the other jets since they cannot do it.
3. Cant go into the Mach figure I reached during the NG supercruise other than to state that it was very robust !
4. Nope … havent seen the new Gripen helmet other than in pictures. Thanks
Vishnu Som
Hello VishnuSom
May I ask at what distance that separates your plane from the F-22A? I know that was WVR, but it’s like 2nm, 5nm…
Thanks
Well up to date there is no prove that the F-35 goes >M1 on dry thrust at all, that’s certainly the point some people want to make here, as some doubt it will be able to do so.
Read this…
F-22A Raptor Special from RIAT 2010
Interview with “Zeke”.
If I’m not mistaken, I read a few months ago an AFA´s article about the T-50. In that article, it´s described that the supposed SRM internal bay is actually mechanical actuators for the LEVCON. I don´t know if its true, but it seems logical.
Not sure if it´s already been posted, but here it is:

Check out this video of the Rafale B air demo at RIAT 09 and see, at 8:27, how fast the plane can do a 150° (I think) right turn!
So they did same although F-22 has more powerful engine and amazing tail which somebody appriciated vey much.:diablo:
Errr…. What?
Yours is 150° turn
How about that?

180° turn or you’re gonna say that’s not 180, but 179,99°?
