    Sure it was foolish, but the planes were destroyed over international waters. We have a different definition of what aggression is.
    I doubt any civilized person would agree with you that the Cessna Pilots and passengers had it coming to them.
    Wow, I thought Canadians were mellow…and supported free speech. 🙂

    by the way writing in big letters won`t change anything 😀 😀 😀
    it just makes people more aggressive and emotional

    I think the whole discussion sucks!
    of course shooting down unarmed cessnas and killing a few people isn`t very nice. but you have to imagine that etienne eyadema, dictator of togo, throws dozens of his political enemies out of aircrafts into the sea. and that sudan bombs/bombed it`s own citizens hundreds of times even with napalm and mustard gas. russia fired ss-21 scarab missiles at market places in chechnya. but nobody is really interested in that. but if castro the enemy of the usa shoots down two cessnas it`s of course a barbarian act of one of the world`s worst regime

    Will try and get some screen captures from that video uploaded tonight. Aside from the Tu-22 it features an SU-22 taking off (poor quality) and a crew boarding a Mig-29UB

    yeah I know It´s quite unique 🙂
    watch also the pro baghdad music video also. in the first scene you can see a flyover of Mig-25s over Baghdad.
    Also a nice source is Sudan TVs ‘Fi meydan el Fidaa’ every friday at 9:50pm (sudanese time) It can be watched via lifestream at http://www.sudantv.tv sometimes you can see sudanese helicopters and planes

    Hi mandrake there a a few pics of one at the 1990 airshow (see below) there are also better photographs of it but I can`t find them yet.

    @mandrake: could you post a few screenshots of the Tu-22 video?

    first AAM there was a German design of a wire guided missile called Kramer X4.
    a few were tested but it was never used in combat.

    well a few iraqi tu-22s were painted in desert camo.

    watch the video army of jerusalem. it’s bad quality but you can see an iraqi tu-22 in colour dropping bombs. the tu-22 is really my favorite aircraft. it’s quite fascinating that countries like iraq and libya had so large super sonic bombers 😮

    here a picture of a gabonese mirage and a small photo from the site of israeli aircraft industries. the camouflaged mig-21 is probably an zambian or ethiopian aircraft
