what do you expect from a cheap company like Ryanair? a 5 star all expenses paid break or something?
you’re telling us on Wednesday morning that it was due to be unveiled on Monday night, without any further details?
It wouldn’t be a shipyard at somewhere in Northern Germany, then?
They’re probably just renaming Jerez to Tenerife Norte North…
Sorry, it is a Parisian Airport. It’s Orly.
if I may just interject…
the picture of an airport with the caption ‘again’ underneath looks surprisingly like unique rather than any of the Parisian airports.
And as for the extra Passport check, not totally sure why the Swiss do it, but it gets done before all flights from Switzerland to the UK, and to the UK only.
According to the Lunchtime Reporting Scotland, GLA has seen 12 cancellations today, PIK 4 and EDI 20.
I did see that easyJet has cancelled all today’s flights from GLA/EDI/NCL/ABZ/INV to London, (as well as London to AMS, CDG and GVA) which probably amounts to most of the cancellations at those airports. Some Ryanair flights from Stansted to PIK (as well as assorted other destinations, don’t ask me for a list, I don’t know where half of them are) are also off, which accounts for those cancellations.
BA also cancelled the three morning flights from GLA to LGW and two of the three EDI-LGW morning flights, although the afternoon flights from both are scheduled as running, as well as [cancellation wise] (just) the lunchtime Heathrow flight from GLA, but 4 Heathrow flights from EDI.
yes
aye, and if they rake off that heightened security by allowing everything back into the Cabin, it’s no longer the safest time to fly.
4 weeks!! FFS if you can buy electronic goods Airside and take them on, then why the 4 week ban to take them thru security?!
This situation personally is OTT
Can you? I know the BBC Scotland website is reporting that all shops within Glasgow Airport were closed yesterday, and from watching the News yesterday that passengers flying to the States from Dan Saarf were facing a second check at the gate, and any dutyfree they’d bought was being put in the hold, too.
LZ? That would be Bulgaria. And isn’t that the Bulgarian flag all along the fuselage, too?
Could that just be a pointer to it belonging to a Great Uncle from Wimbledon Common?
😉
LZ-BTZ belongs to the Goverment of Bulgaria, although it does apparantly also operate the occasional flight for Bulgaria Air.
€314 per person with Lufthansa from Tegel via Frankfurt, with multiple flights avaliable on each day.
€287 per person to go Tegel-Amsterdam with KLM, and Amsterdam-Edinburgh with easyJet.
£64.22 per person on the direct easyJet flight SXF-GLA return on said dates (closer than PIK), only problem if you’re coming from Edinburgh is the return flight ex-GLA leaves at 9:20am.
Also notice that Dublin Airport is still alloying hand luggage on UK flights……
As things currently stand, the restrictions on hand luggage are only on flights from the UK, not to it.
