1. The little Banderiante heads off.
2. And it’s another Prop, this time Beech 1900 F-GTKJ operating a Twinjet flight to Marseille.
3/4 I could get used to these Brit’Air CRJ’s. F-GRJA comes in.
5. Corsair heads back out.
6. CRJ’s are today’s big thing, as I-ADJA arrives with the evening LH flight from Munich.
7. The Air France 321 heads back out, bathed in a glorious sunset.
8. Another Brit’Air CRJ comes in, this time it’s F-GRJF getting the sunset treatment.
9. AF 321 on 16.
10. Or is it a 321 day rather than a CRJ day? difficult to know, as Aigle Azur 321 F-OIVU lands.
Onur have also been banned in Germany, although I don’t have specific details, but I read a brief press statement about it from the LBA (Luftfahrt Bundesamt [German CAA])
1. F-GRGF, a based Regional AF 145.
2/3 320 F-GHQQ, operating the MLH-ORY shuttle.
4. A320-100 F-GGEF arrives from ORY with a puff of smoke.
5. Farnair ATR HB-AFF returns home from another flight servicing UN personnel in Dakovica.
6. Pegasus TC-AAP positions in on a ferry flight from Oslo. No, don’t look to me for an explanation…
7/8 Like I said, there were 3 SNBA aircraft in when I first arrived. 319 OO-SSM was the next to head to 16.
9. Air France Regional Embraer 120 F-GTSI operates the MLH-Clermont Ferrand route.
10. and here is OO-SSM on 16.
There’s lots more to come, as the light faded, but it’ll take a while to upload/crop them all.
1. It really wouldn’t be a photo thread without this. 😉 HB-JAX accelerates along 16.
2. HB-IZZ accelerates out, too.
3/4 Corsair brought in 737-400 F-GFUG on a charter from Seville supposedly to Strasbourg.
5. F-GNLI prepares for another MLH-CDG shuttle run.
6. TS-INF Nouvelair A320 taxis out.
7/8 F-GRZB. Brit’Air dosen’t operate any routes for AF from Basel/Mulhouse, although they do plenty from SXB. First time I’ve seen an AF liveried CRJ, too.
9. And Normality, with a Regional ERJ135, F-GOHC, on the MLH-Lyon run.
10. Falcon HB-ICI. don’t ask me, I know nothing about it, either.
From today’s Birmingham Post
What exactly is an initial public offering? is it some sort of grant?
I think what they’re trying to say is, they may look to float partially on the stock exchange, so as to earn extra income as shares initially get sold off (ie extra funds for “We have one new aircraft coming every month for the next five to six years and that takes a lot of financing,”)
Although, as it says, that’ll be up to the current owners (the government of Dubai)

It says the Groupfare us 50% off if booked between 7 days prior to, and the date of start of Travel. (70% off when booked at least 14 days prior to Travel, and 60% off between 7 and 14 days prior).
I reckon your best bet is to contact DB (by email?), and get them to give you a quote, and explain how to get the particular fare.

I make it €250 return for 5 adults Frankfurt Airport-Cologne by Train (although you’re right, that website is a nightmare trying to find anything out), however that’s a full fare, if you book a Group Ticket, you can get discounts (and the mimimum particiaption for a group fare is 6, so you’re in luck) of up to 70%.
As for flying, I can’t think of any low cost airlines that fly out of FRA except Germania Express (http://www.gexx.com), but they don’t fly from there to either CGN or DUS, sorry.

Pegasus and Sun Express are Turkish Charters. Sun Express is a member of the Lufthansa Group (you can see the similarity of font, and the way they place the logo below the cockpit, just like LH’s wee Crane there). Dunno Pegasus’ heritage, though.

Nice aren’t they?
A couple appeared at Glasgow last year carrying Russian sports teams to fixtures in Scotland.
That would have been CSKA Moscow, me thinks?
It’s unlikely to be them in Biarritz, as they’re home to Parma on Thursday.
Being owned by the big Russian Oil Companies would certainly tie the A/c in with CSKA, who’re sponsored by Abramovich’s Company.

Dosen’t look like I’m going to be able to get time off Work to join you (Weekends are not easiest to get off at the Pub…), after all, what with already taking time off later this Month for a trip Home.
