HB-IZZ accelerates along 16.
HB-JAX Swiss ERJ145 taxis out.
Then HB-IZO left again. This is the only Crossair Saab that got a silver tail, rather than the standard grey one. This was to be the updated livery, before Swiss came about.
HB-JAX took off next.
BA A319 G-EUPF didn’t line up at the end of the Runway. while I’ve seen the occasional flight line up here, it’s the first time I’ve seen anything bigger than a Saab do it.
While Papa Fox held short, Cessna 550 Citation II HB-VMJ landed.
And once Speedbird had gone, the last movement before I left was Swiss ERJ 145 HB-JAY leaving, seen here taxi-ing out.
(damn that sun over to the right)

Where the 2 LX Embraers from ZRH & GVA or where you there long enough to see 2 from the same city???
LX don’t operate MAN-GVA. But they do operate both ZRH and BSL with 145’s.

What were they asking for one ?
The official Price, £18.99. Plus P&P to the Continent of £6 (£2.50 to the UK). A damn sight cheaper than some of the ones on eBay…
what do delay penalties have to do with not showing up at the airport?

Next is another addition to my Virgin Atlantic fleet in the form of 747-400 G-VBIG, Tinker Belle by Gemini Jets. This is part of a limited run promoting Virgin’s association with the 2012 London Olympic bid, and has a ‘Backing the Bid’ graphic applied to the rear fuselage. The presentation stand also has this logo and you get a commerative numbered collectors card with it too. 😀
Phoned up Virgin Mail Order and purchased one of them this morning, too.
Blue Peter claimed the Fairy Liquid bottles to make the RB-211’s for it’s new 757 ! 😀
Surely you mean a squeezy bottle of generic washing up liquid? 😉 :p

According to EDI ops, airbridges do not cost extra, isn’t this the case with all airports?
I think the issue is more the extra turnaround time, rather than just using the built in airstairs. (eg waiting for airbridge to back away and needing a pushback rather than just taxi-ing away from a remote stand etc…)

aren’t they likely to have the rearmost pax door as the 747F does, too?
