“Bring to the table”.
“Bring to the table”.
Can anyone give a positive I.D.
On this interesting shape under the tarp? Note the nose, if there is one under there.

Alex,
From this day on, when I hear the phrase “Museum Quality” I shall think of your Whitley. It is a one of a kind that no one else could possible have the steady hand and patience to duplicate. If you put that on display anywhere be certain to have the photos of the interior with it. You really started with nothing on this project. Remember, when the non modeller asks you how many hours you’ve spent on this be sure to ask them how many hours they’ve spent watching TV!
I’d suggest that you include what you’ve posted here so far into a book describing your techniques step by step.
Captain’s responsible
If he deviated from his prescribed course several times before this, GPS positioning would have reported that to the Cruise Line and the insurer.
Everyone will have a lot of explaining to do, and pity the poor captain explaining all this, and his ‘guest’ to his wife!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh…”A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou.”
And pretty soon I’ll be fat, drunk, and in a whole lot of trouble!

The July 1960 shootdown of an RB-47 (by a Mig-19?) over the Barents Sea seemed an easy one. Capt. V.A. Polyakov attacked from the tail, so close that it filled the entire scope of the RB-47 gunnery radar forcing it to fire visually.

Wanted but didn’t get
USAF – Wanted B-70….got to keep a few B-52
Wanted F-108..got to keep F-102 & F-106
USN Wanted Avenger…but cost over runs cancelled it
Too late now, but I think that was planned. If the No Fly is imposed the Colonel will simply leave his air assets in the hangar. Then what, close air support to take out his armor? Ground troops? It’ll be over before any implimentation anyway.
