My favourite one: the Alpha-Jet!
oops…
just a question: does the israeli air force have an acrobatic team? if yes, any pics or infos about?
and thanks!
O.T-S
the embleme:
the Green March acrobatic team – Morocco
the team was created in 1984 with two AS-202 Bravo
in 1986 the team received two CAP-10
then the team was flying with four Cap-230
in 1991 the team was on the Guinness book as the most performant team of the world!
in the middle (end?) of 90`s the team was flying with seven Cap-231
today the team flyes with eight Cap-232 and is known as one of the most fascinant acrobatic teams of the world!
-> the team has a CN-235 for logistic support and other missions…

@BME330:
i don’t know but the flag on the IL-2 seems like the moroccan one… or may the star be the communist yellow one?
part III
part II
MAF
some pics of birds formerly used by the royal moroccan air force…
They look as they are in an immaculate condition. Has anyone more information about the current state of these aircraft? Thanx!
the malian air force received 12 Mig-21MF and two UM (1988 I think), 10 to 11 MF still active (well kept), but I don’t have any information about the Mongols`
-> malian air force is also using 5 Mig-17 and 6 Aero-L29…
as we can see lately most countries are buying their own jetaircrafts and saudi arabia is going to get eurofighters but iran which is an extremely rich country that can afford any russian jetfighter leaves me to the conclusion why has it been so quite and not purchasing any new fighters at all? i think IRIAF is going through a big depression right now :(.
ahem…
Ex-Saudi Tornados for Moroccan Air Force ?
I found some informations about the transfer of nearly 20 ex-Saudi Tornados to Morocco… (the entry is in french): http://www.webzinemaker.com/admi/m6/page.php3?num_web=39614&rubr=4&id=293111
any infos about???
Toons, you are right about the qdp in 2004. in 2005 we had a gdp of 95 billions :dev2:
r u sure? 😉
Algeria is hardly a third world country. It has a GDP of USD217billion (ranked 38th in the world).
Algerian PPP is comparable to countries like Ukraine ($6.300), Tunisia or Macedonia ($7.100).. It ain’t a real third world country..
about algeria:
its gdp is about $85 billion … the gdp per capita is about $2,5k ($5k in ppp)…
unemployment is about 22% !!! (2x the unemployement rate of neighbour countries), inflation rate is about 4,5%…
hydrocarbures account for roughly 60% of budget revenues, 30% of gdp, and over 95% of export…
😉
a lot of the libyan c-130’s are parked up due to lack of spares. although now that they are our friends again, expect to see them overhauled and back in the air within the next couple of years.
i think that ur “now they are our friends again” is too optimist… don’t forget that gaddhafi still the head of state and he’s a little bit “instable” (psy)
hop!
partII 😀
