RE: we have enough laws here….

    Right seahawk.

The point is this guy had an expired license.

I read in a newspaper of SanFrancisco this interesting figure.

If one compare NY + suburb and London+suburb. Both cities have a similar number of people.

In 1993 : NY 2300 murders by Fire arms.
    London : ……… 110.

After that The NRA and Mister Charlton Heston claim that crimes in the US have nothing to do with guns.!!!

Don’t really play in a band . I play guitar (acoustic) and have nice jam sessions with friends as often as possible

    Yep ,

i’m really ashamed to be French today. After years of pitiful management
our establishment begins to get what he asked for.

Sad day for Europe and democracy

    Planedude,

i guess that this kind of discussion has nothing to do on this forum.

I’m franch and I have never and will never tell something offending about the British people.

I respect your opinion and yourself. Please do the same. That’s a good start to avoid wwIII

    RE: Airplane accidents

I mostly agree with all of you.

Maintenance is the key point. All serious airline have a very strict maintenance plan. Each a/c has to be checked on a regular basis.
Every 10k hours AF a/c are dismantled, each part is checked , X-rayed and each wire , contact , rivet is checked.

It’s not as as car were ageing is a key point.
I do agree that a brand new a/c is a bit more risky , but both airbus and boeing make a lot of in flight test even before delivery.

I definitely believe that the most important risk in air traffic is the human factor
