    Well done,

That is what we call in France an “April fish”.

However this story of pictures and jail made perfect sense to me ……. unfortunately in so many countries ….

    RE: New Jumbo Variant

You’re right . There is a flight from CDG to LAX on AA.
This “non stop” flight (AA045 I guess) stops at JFK with an equipment change.

However an A340 flew for test non-stop from TLS to AKL !!!! I guess it’s still the record.

    Good flights with Corsair.

I flew last year with them to LAX and Marakech.

    Well ,

So far according with my timetable , I found only 2 scheduled carriers operating from London to AUS : BA and QF.

None of them has a non stop flight.

    Memories , memories ….

An other topic is about gone airlines.
Here is one : UTA .
This one has been acquired by AF early 90’s.

I flew with them to SFO a couple of times and they were absolutely great.

Look at this great DC10-30 . He is now used by AOM – AirLib

    RE: Any good African airlines?

    Well ,

I flew with both Royal air Maroc and Tunis Air .
Both are good and have a good reputation.

My friens working at Air France maintenance says that Tunis Air
does a great job in maintenance business, one of the best in Africa.
