Well, thats what the test flights are for I suppose.
It’d be very unusual for flight testing not to have hiccups or to not find anything wrong, regardless how small.
Definitely. If they were claiming a test round without any incident , it would sound fishy.
I flew this beauty only once ! (CDG-LAX) with DL 10 years ago.
My all time favorite. So long MD11, fortunately a lot of freighters are still flying.
Does KLM still operate it?
The routes over the pacific oceans are well known for their rough turbulences.
This kind of accidents are not rare unfortunately…
I never flew the A380. Actually my first choice would go to the 777.
I always pick the smallest airplane when it’s possible.
One present airliner has quite well succeeded in mincing 505 passengers together with the 15 crew, as per Mount Takamagahara. It is just a coincidence that Corsair has not crashed yet, and 747 still is the plane with most seats.
Actually I flew a couple of times on Corsair B744 and I have to admit that it is not that bad.
The first time was ORY to Morocco back in 2001 and then to La Guadeloupe a couple of years ago.
since I don’t have any specific bad memories …. it was certainly good;
As for the A380 packed to full capacity, thanks but no thanks, it is not my idea of flying…
but maybe I’m wrong
Sounds like a broken record : turbulences , people not seaten with their seat belt fasten , injures etc…. Some will never learn!
Best :
Qatar : hands down
United : until a few years ago
Swiss : efficient and classy
UTA: But gone for a while now
Worst:
United : now it’s a disgrace
Ryanair : Just a joke!
Alitalia : A complete disaster
Only one AFAIK
He said most European airlines had 550 seats on their A380s.
Source: The Sydney Morning Herald
That’s good journalism!! As far as I know there is only one european airline operating only one A380 at this point.
Worst:
CDG: crowded, dirty .Terminal E is the exeption
Heathrow: Just a mess! Don’t know T5 though
LAX: Just awful exept for BBradley terminal
ORY : old , messy
Best:
Zurich : clear , easy, comfy
Munich : convienient and easy
Barcelona: nice airport
HongKong: the top
I would fly with them I guess…
Well I guess the guy asked for it …..
Not clever ? Yes for sure.
Let’s keep in mind that this person is described as an “orthodox” which means a person quite “extrem” about the religion.
Those people have some rigid pray rules to follow that we may not understand….
Paranoia, paranoia ….
What a shame : no comment!
