OFMC operated a Dewotine, this is the ex Patrick Lindsey MS230 which PPS used to operate.
Do you have any other pics from the event LAHARVE? I for one would be very interested to see them.

A few more already scanned, there must be more in the loft, I would not have gone that far with out increasing Kodak’s profits.

Three later shots of N166G as first two G-PSID then as F-AZFI (in French markings) just for historical interest.

Delving even deeper in to the loft I found this, I believe it is ARCo/HAC’s Storch 18th February 2001.

I believe HAC had an Argos powered Storch once, G-FIST, no date on pic but this is what it looked like…

    XN923, you said-
‘The ones I require help with are as follows: I believe the ‘Grace’ two seater Mk. TrIX ML407 was flying, but if it was, I don’t know which codes it was carrying. The only photo I’ve seen doesn’t look like the OU-U codes the aircraft has carried in the past’
I was not at the September show, but have pics of the scheme you are looking for,

Not in a scrap yard but at Thruxton back in the 80,s I think there was a Spanish Dakota there at the same time with the tail missing.

Is it a film prop? If so, any idea which film?

    Historical or hysterical?

Give me a clue and I will edit the title.

Either way, at present seems to fit where we are!

John, all I can say is it was people from Personal Plane Services dismantling the aircraft on 13th October 1999, when the second picture was taken and they seem to do a lot of work for Kermit Weeks so I am assuming that it was going to him.

Hi John, I do not know if this is any help but did’t Kermit Weeks obtain the OFMC’s Sea Fury (WG599/D-CACY/G-BWOL) could this be what you are looking for?

Well for my money the RAFM should be going hell for leather to secure an A-20/Havoc/Boston….on the basis that the Mitchell is in US markings i think some of the heavier mid war RAF medium bomber units are sorely underserved – i would hope that they may have something to trade….if memory serves several spits in store?

    TT

I think your right there TT, a Havoc/Boston in USAAF or RAF markings would be a welcome addition to the RAFM’s collection and one of their stored Spitfires would surely be well used in a swap.
