whats next?
I think ‘KEY’ know they dropped a big goolie but I would think the budget was spent and not a place to go with it further, I am sure a few people no longer work for ‘KEY’ or consult on a matter they had no obvious knowledge in.
I know I upset a few here with my ‘prima donna’ statement but some did get all big girls blouse over it some maybe rightly so but this year of pandemic would of made this place frightfully quiet including Duxford Diary, North Weald Diary, Spotted, Airshows etc so we must take that into this years context of slow postings and in what I believe is a dying sport of aviation enthusiasts from post WWII to the early 2000’s many have passed on and where it appears to of started to drop off although owner operators seem to of swelled.
I stick here because I cant find anything else near as easy to pop in out and if I pop in and nothing to read I come back again a little later, I try to contribute but I am not as knowledgeable as other still here or the ones long gone.
Ramblings over
Well done all
Thanks for the update Geoff, a good decision made rather than wait for the Vix to get that amount of funding without a pandemic would be a challenge.
good luck with the FB11, will she be Centaurus powered or P&W?
FaceAche, yes, well, ermm , ohhh
Rip it up and start again, just cannot do it
What he said
its a VDM but how do they know its from the correct aircraft that Gibson shot down or did I miss something?
I enjoyed it John without !
G’Day
Cannot see she did many hours this year, what an icon PA474 is.
Thank you John, very good to see, I sort of understood what was being said.
Thank you AA, with kind people like you around I do not need to waste time with Smell Checker
Legends 21 will be working like silk to get in and to get out, Mark My Words
Thank you Richard for the settling this, as I had said above its 18 miles away, look what happens within 18 miles of Heathrow and Stansted is just over 14 miles from DX and Legends went ahead no issues.

Which numpty decided to hold it on the same weekend as the Silverstone Grand Prix considering all the traffic and airspace issues that come with it?”
Aeronut, its around 18 miles SW of Sywell, I am sure that is more than enough airspace for the two events not to get in each others way, people going to Silverstone by road will be passing earlier and coming back later so I doubt make any problems on the roads much more than the airshow will anyway
